In the Girls category, Seidatha Palmer of Herbert Morrison turned back the challenge of the rest of the field to take the girls 100m title in 11.85 seconds.
Delano Williams was the standout athlete. The sprinter captured the blue ribbond events - 100m and 200, running the shorter distance in a time of 10.51 seconds and the 200m in a smart 20.73.
Todd produced a better effort in the 200m and stopped the clock at 21.00 seconds and Herbert Morrison’s Clayton Coates was third in 21.85.
Herbert Morrison Technical High finished second and third in the Girl’s 400m, thanks to Keja Christie (57.13) and Seidatha Palmer (59.04) behind Ambersley, who ran a time of 54.98.
Meanwhile, Munro College was at the top of the podium again when Wayne Hyman topped the field to land the 400m in a time of 47.26. Feadien Royes of Green Island High School was second in 48.82 seconds and Herbert Morrison’s Teivaskie Lewin (48.93) was third.
Teivaskie of Herbert Morrison High was placed in second In the 110m hurdles.
Herbert Morrison Technical was second in the boys 4x100m relay in 41.32.
Herbert Morrison won the Girl’s 4x100m relay in 46.99. Comprising the winning quartet were Burchell, Christie, Tiffany Cunningham and Camille Nelson.
1)What is the College Prep. Programme?
The college Prep programme is a comprehensive training course which prepare students for all sections of the SAT Reasoning Test including, Critical Reading, Mathematics and Writing. It also involves other areas of support for the student in regard to their placement in international Universities.
